Advertising rules

How approval works

• After you pay, your advert joins our review queue. We aim to review every advert within one business day.
• We may approve it, ask you for changes, or reject it. If we ask for changes, your date stays held while you edit.
• If we reject your advert, we refund you in full and release the date.
• If an advert has not been approved by the time its day begins (12:00 AM US Eastern Time), it will not run. The booking is cancelled and refunded in full. To give review enough time, book as early as you can.
• Unreviewed adverts are never published.

Not allowed

• Scams, fraudulent schemes, get-rich-quick offers and pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
• Malware, phishing, or links that try to collect credentials or payment details deceptively.
• Illegal products or services, or anything illegal in the United States.
• Pornography and sexually explicit content.
• Misleading or deceptive advertising, including fake endorsements, false claims and impersonation.
• Hate, harassment, threats or abusive content.
• Weapons, recreational drugs, tobacco and vaping products, gambling, and unregulated financial or crypto investment offers.
• Content you do not have the rights to use.
• Anything else that creates legal, payment-processing or reputational risk for 24hour.ad, at our discretion.

Destination links

Your link must work, must match what the advert promises, and must not redirect somewhere different after approval. We may check it again on your day.

Removal after publication

If an approved advert is found to break these rules after it goes live (for example, the destination changes), we remove it and show our default advert for the rest of the day. Whether a refund is due depends on the circumstances: we refund where the problem was not caused by the advertiser, and we do not refund adverts removed for deliberately breaking these rules.
